    Hello,

I'm about to apply for university this year to start in 2012 and I just have some questions.

Do I need to have an insurance university?
Should I apply to a university that I haven't visited?
Which is better for Geography and Economics-Birmingham, UCL or Queen Mary?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

You don't need an insurance university if you have an offer you can meet from a university you want to go to, but nobody knows that at the start of the process. Applying tactically is very much recommended.

Up to you. Many do, many others don't want to take the risk. Only you can decide.

Don't know anything bout geog or econ, I'm afraid.
