I understand Geography at Bristol is a Bsc, ive looked at the course requirements and got the impression its quite sciencey although ive heard one or two people say that its not.

Any information from people on this course at Bristol would be really helpfull in deciding what Uni's i shortlist.

    Thanks

in first year (regarding assignments) human geography dominates and the course is fix (although you can choose 2 open units, if you want outside geography). from 2nd year you can choose from 3 paths human-environmental-physical. statistics/spatial modelling is compulsory for everyone

Physical geography at Bristol is very scientific... But if you don't want to do that you can choose human geography, which is not scientific. But it is still a BSc because of the maths and stats involved, which takes up a lot of time but isn't particularly difficult!
