You a boy or a girl?
According to some BMI(Body Mass Index) calculator's, you would be classed as overweight. However, certain people hold weight differently, for example muscle weighs more then fat, so if your sporting or something, then you could have more muscle then you realise.

your BMI is 28... anything above 25 is overweight, but if you're big boned or big structured then BMI doesnt really count for much.

Your BMI is 28.0 which does put you in the overweight range. It is a notoriously unreliable form of measurement though.

Are you muscular?

BMIs aren't really useful as a gauge of fatness. The concept was developed by US insurance companies as a way of being able to refuse people cover. It has it's place as a tool for epidemiology and as a quick 'look see', but don't use it as a 'fat or not' bench marker.

It the BMI were to work it should take in to account adiposity, not weight...

Bone structure and athleticism can make bmi inaccurate but not by that much, at that height you aren't going to be built like Arnold. I'm 164cm and if I were 12 stone I know that I would be quite overweight, it could not possibly be all be muscle.

Why does it matter if you are over weight or not? If you think you could do with losing a few pounds then go for it. If you are going to diet just because you heard you might be overweight then there's no point, you won't have the motivation to stick to it.

If you're quite happy with your weight and don't binge-eat or only eat junk food, I reckon you're quite healthy. Attractiveness is definately linked to confidence so if you're ashamed of your body it will show, but you don't need to be at all, if you smile and just get on with life- treat your body as the amazing gift it is, treasure all the things it allows you to do, wear clothes you like the look of- you've got no worries!
I'm a girl with big boobs/biggish hips, 175cm or so and about 12 stone, maybe jsut under. I don't consider myself fat and nor does anyone else; if I try to pinch fat on my stomach there's not much there. If you don't have much grabbable/obvious fat you probably aren't fat - measurements are a better guide than weight/BMI.

It is certainly possible to have a low body fat with those stats. Unlikely, but not impossible.

^5'5", 190lbs.
I'm a guy, 169cm, and 13.5 stone. I know my BMI is about 0.2 off being obese, but I don't look it AT ALL - a wee bit of fat, but mostly muscle. I can say from experience that BMI is rubbish...

i do eat, and eat a lot, like the amount for 1.5 or 2 people. but still not growing any muscles (its a balaced diet too). and Im rather weaker in terms of strength. so not particularly good at fighting....(if need be)

1.78 metres and 60 kilograms; my B.M.I. is 18.9, with basically nil by way of muscle mass.

I would therefore extrapolate that Gio is marginally 'underweight'.
You're just a bit heavier than me, and I've never had a problem with the way I look. In fact, I just pulled a guy I really fancy

Then go to the gym and eat "the amount for 3 people".
I think , people really do feel worried about there weight on TSR , I mean it really does matter wats ur build like. I am 5ft and 1o and a half stone, this has attracted rather abusive comments from ignorant people but as I play rugby and therefore carry a lot of muscle I do not feel particularly big. If you feel that you are overweight then it is up to you what you want to do about it, if you dont feel like that then just live your life for you, not for other people, afterall, what does it matter what other people think as long as you are happy with yourself.
BMI is constantly calling me almost obese. And I'm just blatantly not, I have an ace body . Pretty solidly built, but it's not fat. It even says on the BMI things, that it's for "average people". And who's average?
