    I have achieved...

    GCSE: 5A*'s, 3A's, 2B's and a C.
AS: AAAC with a resit in the new year for the 'C'.
    Predicted: A*A*A/A*

I have a string of personal reasons for why my GCSEs werent as good as they could have been. I'm also resitting my 'C' after consistently getting A's all year in the subject and flunking the exam. Thanks.

What course you thinking of doing?
and that resit in the AS might not look too good, but I'm sure it can be overlooked if you get 2/3 A*'s at A-level!
Your GCSE's look good yea, but it all depends on the course and if it's competitive or not?

Law, so it's very competitive. I'm applying to Oxford for the experience because theres no way in hell I'm getting in but I don't want to apply to another place that's equally as unlikely if you get what I mean?

ohhh, yes, very competitive haha! actually, I might get negged rep for this haha, but you have like 5A*'s, which is probably below par for oxford, but their entry isn't as strict as cambridge I don't think.... if you get an interview then just smash that and your PS haha! but yea I get what you mean haha

But LSE is still a fantastic uni so just try and do your absolute best, and I would say, you have a fair chance, just make your personal statement AMAZING!

I know, but I have legitimate reasons for why I underperformed at GCSE (significant personal illness, a string of serious family illnesses in the week before and during my exams) which I'm hoping they'll take into account. Just curious about LSE is all. Thank you so much for your answer.

that should work in your favour tbh, they will probably overlook your GCSE's and gun for your A-Levels, PS and your LNAT score as well....

Good luck mate! and I'm happy to help ;D
