I've been doing some further reading on Nazi Germany and after reading Kershaw and especially Michael Burleigh's "The Third Reich A New History" I'm really struggling to make it through Richard Evans's trilogy. It seems so cold and objective that I never found it engaging; it felt like a chore to spend time reading it. Anyone else had a similar experience?
