Ever since I got my first guineapigs at the tender age of 10 I've wanted to specialise in them...I love going to visit the guineapig colony at Bristol Vet School, there's always babies/pregnant guineapigs to play with. I miss my guineapigs.
Can you specialise in hamsters? Lol, they were my best friends as a young child :p:

You could specialise in monomorphs which covers hamsters, mice, rats and gerbils
^ I had two mice when I was younger called Salt and Pepper but one had to be put down when he was 2 because he had cancer. =(

Aww...my guineapigs lived 'til the grand old age of 6 and then one died and the other quickly followed a couple of days later from depression I think, they'd never been parted for longer than 5 minutes in their lives! :frown:
I cried my eyes out when one of my hamsters had to be put down after 3 years. His name was Snuggles

I had Cuddles, then Smudge, then Snuggles and then Nibbly and Chewy.

Don't laugh at the pathetic names :p:

i had a rabbit called secret and a guinea pig called squeaky, then the rabbit died so i got another guinea pig called traeasure, then the first guinea pig died so i got two more called gemima and crester.
then when they dies my mum had had enough of guineapigs because they live too long and she didnt want the be stuck with them when we had all left. so now we have a hamster called peanut.

random story you didnt want to know.
I had guinea pigs called Gem and magic and magic was like a walking cotton wool ball with a black head and orange bit. She was funny aww I miss her. I got them when I was ten and she died 3 years ago.

I got Magic on my knee once and fed her a salad leaf and Gem saw and got jealous and started squeaking furiously at me! Funny
