I found out today that a girl in my sicth-form nearly got raped. She now carries a 120 decibel rape alarm.
it seems to be really common these days- and muggins as well. Loads of my boyfriends friends have been mugged. At his school they are now running self defence courses and he says they have been really popular, with boys and girls!!

the alarms go off in your bag tho and they are realli difficult to switch off, soooooooo embarassin in the middle of a supermarket

My friend wouldn't let me touch hers, she said it was really sensitive and very very loud. How do you get one? I want one.
got one from lloyds pharmacy near where i live, i know the lady in the shop so she gave me one and said its a must have but i shud b careful with it. anyway it was in ma bag and when getting my purse out my phone dropped on it and it went off... oh the shame

does it jus set off on its own?!! lol
they have a huge button on one side to set it off, it also has a cord which sets it off if you pull it. on the back it has another little button with a torch
the only problem with them is you have to be incredibly strong to press the button hard enough to stop it, or incredibly nimble fingered to put the cord back together correctly in under 10 minuites by which time you would be deaf!

Think you just pull the cord and it connects the circuit and triggers the alarm, they are about the size of of a mouse, maybe smaller.

Rape is sickening. I want an alarm! I hate walking on my own I feel like every male i walk pass is staring at me. Do you think I will be allowed an alarm as I'm only 13, they won't let you buy somethings.

Yea, I agree. If I had God-like powers, was able to tell whether someone was guilty or not 100% of the time and had the powers to just kill them like that, then I probably would. This might sound weird but I find rape 'more bad' than murder.
If they can't be sentenced to death, even if they are proven guilty, then they should at least have their privates removed so that they can't do anything like it again.
I go to an all girls college and we were all given them. They are 10 decibels above the human tolerance for noise. I feel safer walking around with it, although worried it might just be mistaken for a pesky car alarm. I check out of my window every time I hear a car alarm now, just in case.

yeah, you would be allowed one, because you are equally as much at risk as anyone else and people have no right to stop you buying something which would make you feel more comfortable going out in the evening or ar night.

rape is worse than murder because after rape the victim and their family have to suffer the consequences whereas aftr murder only the family do, the victim themself no longer suffers.
rape also seems worse because the authorities do not enforce the same strickt punishments as the do for murder, thus making it seem less of a crime to the attacker, but a worse crime to the general public as the attacker can get off scot free

Its like winning the lottery for the boy 
theres a woman i know of whos middle aged. shes just been arrested and made to sign the offenders' register for sleeping with a thirteen year old. is it the fact that theres got to be an element of willingness from the boy's part that makes this more acceptable?
