How would you feel if your boyfriend wrote you a letter saying how he feels etc and saying what he wants for the future. Would you think it was pathetic or would it make you happy? :smile:

Assuming I loved him, I'd be well chuffed. If we'd been going out for 2 weeks or something then I'd find it...well...weird.

I dunno, it would depend what sort of things it said about the future. If I had not planned the future in the way that my boyfriend had then it would be a little worrying. I wouldn't worry too much about, you should be glad a bloke is telling you how he feels, as many don't.

My girlfriend and I exchanged letters without knowing the other was writing one after a year of going out. From my experience it's great - sometimes I personally feel better to write how I feel, it's cool.

Then again, could depend on the letter though it's generally really sweet to receive a letter :smile:

Hopefully it's not - "I'm hungry. I'd like a McDonalds and coke please!" :P

Depends what it said. Going on how i feeel about my current boyfriend, if it said 'We had great fun but i don't think its working, lets call it a day' I would be devestated, if it said 'I like you a lot at the moment but I don't see us being together forever' I would be upset, if it said 'I really love you, you are the best thing that ever happened to me, I can see us going a long way together' , I would be ecsatatic if it said 'I adore you will you marry me.' I would laugh but try to cool things down for a bit.

but if the shoe was on the other foot, then it would be his fault too, right? not thinking about the future enough? doesnt take the relationship seriously enough? etc. bloody women.

Depends how much i liked the guy.
I'm pretty cynical actually, so unless it was one of 2 guys, then I wouldnt like it.
But im horribly unromantic.

hehe.. mine wrote me one when i was going on holiday.. and we knew that we would miss each other.. it was so nice and soppy and i loved it - i read it every day of the holiday.. and i wrote him one too.. it was uber nice :biggrin:
