a mole on my face appears to have burst

A mole I've had on my chin as long as I can remember, earlier it felt like a spot (as if it had some pus in it or something) and it has now kind of burst. Now it's sore and looks red...

If in the UK you have to be referred to a dermatologist by your GP.

Anyway, as has already been said, go see a doctor as any changes in a mole could indicate problems. If it turns out to be nothing, then at least it'll have put your mind at rest.

GP it is. Moles are not supposed to change. Maybe you had a spot growing underneath it and that's why it opened. Don't think that's very good though, 'cos they can spread (I believe.. don't take my word for it).
