Guy related problem

ok so i met this really nice guy at uni and everything was great up until about 3 weeks b4 christmas break, basically i got a txt sayin he wanted 2 c me cz he was gonna b busy with essays up until the break and he wanted to see me, which was fine with me bcoz i had essays to do too. When he came to see me i debated with myself of whether i should tell him i liked him and wanted more than just a seeing each other relationship. He said that it was cool and after he had got his essays out of the way we would arrange to go out properly. So we parted on really good terms. It turned out i was busy all the way up 2 the holidays with my mates etc. and i gave him a txt 2 say have a nice xmas etc... and i never got anything back up to this point to my dissapointment :frown:

so i dont know whether to try and reconnect with him or not bother... me and my mates came to the conclusion that either all he was interested in was sex(which he didnt get!) or he met someone else. So considering this i dont know what to do... even if he did meet someone else i would still like to remain friends with him coz hes a nice guy.... what to do?!

I think you should get in contact with him, as even if you just want to remain friends then one of you has to make the first move. Maybe he was reflecting over the situation over christmas, But your obviously still thinking aboiut him so you need to find out for yourself wether hes gone of you, or has met someone else so at least you can put your mind at rest and move on.

im unsure of gettin in contact because im kinda shy and for me to tell him how i felt took alot of guts for me! So in a way its kinda knocked my confidence... true in wat u say, i havent got anything to lose

no u dont have anything to lose. it is always worth trying believe me..no matter what people think. sometimes u just have to be confident and do what you want, otherwise u never know what could have been. try and contact him, whether u remain friends or more is completely between you and him, but nothings going to happen if you dont try. good luck xx

Chances are he probablly was just after sex, but i dont know the guy so i could be wrong.
If you already messaged him a couple of times and hes still not replied, then it would be easier to just move on.

i havent sent him a message since just before we broke up for christmas and that was the only time ive txt him since the last time i saw him.

any suggestions on what to/not to txt. I dont wanna be too forward as i havent spoken to him in a while.
