Why are Imperial students so pompous and arrogant?

Viscious over generalisation, I could easily ask why are all UCL students so pompous and arrogant based on my experience of one single student I know who studied there...

whodunnit
And why is the university leaving University of London and still begging to be part of the ULU sports leagues?
Pathetic

And it is here that you have to understand the difference between the University and the Student Union.
Imperial, like many universitys is naturally, in modern climates becoming much more interested in value of investment etc, and has obviously decided that remaining a part of UL is likely to not be in Imperials long term best interests as a university/college.
The sports teams within Imperial are administered by the Union and the student members. Their priorities are obviously often different from that of the university. The university as such has nothing to gain from the sports clubs participation in the University of London Union leagues. It is the students who would suffer.
