It is a known side effect, yes, but that doesn't mean it will automatically happen to you.

Just dont eat anymore than you usually do, if you feel its making you hungrier then snack on healthy stuff.

i was worried about that when i went on it but in fact i'v lost weight since i went on it. probably not connected but still. i wouldn't worry!

don't worry, that doesn't happen to everyone. some gain weight, some get acne and for some nothing at all happen.
I found when I went on it I had such an increase in appetite and put on half a stone really soon, but that only happens to some people, now I've lost it by saying no to my tummy

I did put on weight, though I ate the same stuff/amount and exercised as much as before. Also became all depressed, worst mood swings ever!..scary  . I gave it 6 months... then stopped taking them, lost the weight and lived happy ever after.
Not everyone puts on weight & those who do usually only put on a couple of pounds. I certainly haven't noticed any inflation of weight.
My appetite has increased since going on the pill and so I've put weight on. In fact I've gone from a size 8 to a 12. I've always had a large appetite and I enjoy my food so I found it hard not to give in when I was hungry. Not everyone puts weight on I just guess it depends on your eating habits in general anyway.
I put on a little bit of weight, but it seemed to go directly to my breasts, so didn't give me too much to complain about!

i think my dr explained it to me right. the pill can change your appetite. so you can either gain or lose weight. you can however just keep an eye on what you eat
