Normal - Hair Falling out while growing?

ok since my hair has reached the 2.5 inches of length I have seen hair drop out while having a shower or apply hair styling products.
This only happens with me when im growing my hair, when its below 2inches of length no hair is falling out.
I have started to use some herbal hair oil from last thursday to help make my hair more stronger and help with the growing process.

Just wanted to know if loosing sum hairs while growing was natural?

yes hair falls out naturally, you might not have noticed it till now if this is the longest it's been.
however, if it falls out leaving bald patches, you may be developing a condition called alopecia. but this is quite unlikely.
