Spewing up/Calories

Bit of a weird one, but hey.... If you were to drink mega amounts of booze (and also have some food) then throw up twice within a few hours (due to stupid drink mixing NOT an eating disorder)would any of the calories etc have already been absorbed into your body or do they not count?

Yes, some would have been absorbed - alcohol is extremely rapidly absorbed for starters. It's impossible to say how much though.

a lot would.

About 40% of calories are already absorbed from food, alcohol is absorbed more quickly so if you threw up the whole of your stomach contents, prob less than 50% calories lost!

Alcohol is absorbed v quickly, but food calories aren't absorbed *instantly!!!* at all. I mean, think about biology lessons...

Yep, I do biology A-level, I used to think that throwing up food just after you've eaten it would get rid of pretty much all the calories, that was before I was bulimic and told by a couple of doctors that this wasn't the case- apparantly you retain at least 40% of the calories.
