i'm against buying anything this valenties day because my boyfriend didn't get me christmas present.

i'm hoping he will take me out for a meal, and he can do all the hard work this year. last year i cooked for him bought him a teddy.. went to a great effort.. this year, he best do that for me. asshole.

oh - chocolates are a good idea.
I would try for the signed thing....if only I hadn't already done that for his 18th! while he stood there in front of Richard Hammond.....

lol!

maybe a photo frame and some nice cookies or a cake.....

mmmmmm......

any more help would be appreciated....what about things that are totally out of the ordinary and not exclusive to your relationship (like in jokes!!)

Argh I have this problem too! I am so crap at presents and my boyfriend is so good! He continually buys me presents, just silly things like mittens when I lose mine and my favourite chocolate etc.. For Christmas he got me a Links of London charm for my bracelet, a limited first edition copy of my favourite Harry Potter book and spoiled me lots on holiday in America. He's already planning Valentine's day presents and I have not a clue!

someone direct my boyfriend to this page.

he is stingy with his money, doesn't particularly care whether i am happy or not, and probably will not do anything romantic.. he will just expect sex.

I got him concert tickets for the Ordinary Boys  -something we can both enjoy !
weeee, can't wait!
I've not a clue what I'm going to get my boyfriend. I know he's going to be making me some kind of jewellery from titanium  (I have a feeling it's going to be a necklace but I'm not sure). So because he's going through the trouble and time of making something I really want to get him something good.

Thing is we have only been going out a week so I don’t want to spend all that much money on him (£30 at most really, £40 at a push) even though I know he will probably be spending more on me to get the materials he needs (but hey I’m a student with no job  ).

We haven’t got any pictures of the two of us together as of yet so that’s not an option :frown: . I’m not thinking jewellery as he can make it and doesn’t really wear it that often anyway as it is.

So can anyone help me out? I don’t want him to make me something and not be able to give him something in return as it would make me look like a bad girlfriend  .
A spoon? Interesting...

I am going to have an anti-valentines Valentines Day as I'm single. I'll eat chocolate and watch tv with my single friends!
No love spoons for me.

Last year I got my boyfriend some jeans because he'd been wearing the same ones for ages which were getting really really ripped and it was annoying me, then when the flies broke I was like thats it! You're having some more! I got him a belt buckle too.

I'm not getting mine a card, I'm writing him a letter. I did it last year and he really liked it. I'm going to collect random song lyrics and quotes which relate to things we've done and our relationship, then put it all together in a letter. I have no idea what present I'm getting him though. Plenty of time to decide though yet!

In my opinion, personal little things are better as they mean more, then if you want get something which he/she wants as well.
