looking to become a paramedic

Hey all, I recently became very ill and nearly died if it was not for the paramedic at the scene I most definitely would off.

I have 3 GCSE's:

Maths C

English B

Science single A*

I have 2 AS Level's:

History D

Economics B

Basically I am wondering if I would be able to get on to one of the foundation degrees training to be a paramedic and if not is there any other route for someone with my academic qualifications ?


Any advice would be much appreciated :smile:

Hi there,

Any course/training to be a paramedic has become extremely competitive. My advice is the get more GCSES, and do your A2 levels.

Perhaps wait for one or two years before you apply, but don't give up!

An access to healthcare course at college might be good for you :smile:
