It's best you stay off the computer and try to get some rest, I suppose. Sleep maybe? Or drink something at least - hot chocolate or warm milk?

Poor you. You're done with your exams I hope?

Got this off the net:

Get under a pile of blankets, and sweat!

This is supposed to flush out the poisons produced by the infection. It hasn’t been proved. Anyway, it’s pleasanter to drink liquids, and you accomplish the same purpose.

# A piece of hard candy soothes your throat
# Cough syrup eases a troublesome cough
# Nasal decongestants, in the form of drops, inhalers, or sprays, are useful when your nose is clogged up and your breathing is difficult.
# Drinking fruit juice or water helps keep the mucus membranes moist.
# Rest, since it conserves energy, helps your body to build up resistance against complications.

Rest. What are you still doing on the computer? :p:

I believe this gem is a superstition grounded in truth - when you're warmer, your enzymes and other processes work faster to fight the infection or whatever's causing the illness! Hence staying in bed whenever ill
