Do you always get a sore throat with glandular fever?

I wondered if you always get one with glandualr fever as i havent, i have all the other symtoms tho, thought it mite be mumps so went to the doc and waiting for the results for both im just soo tired can barely do anything same kinda feeling as flu just no cold or sore throat! :confused:

I'd say that the sore throat and swollen glands are one of the key signs, but you could be unlucky. On the other hand, it could be something else.

I had a mutant glandular fever, I had the sore throat and the gland problems but no fever :smile:

Could be that you also have a mutant....

I had mumps over Christmas. Wooo! I don't think you get a sore throat with that or GF. Have the glands in your neck swollen up? Just on one side or both?
