..what do you people think of it? Does it look good in your opinion? Have you had it done? Does it hurt? :confused:

alot of people say it doesnt but i thought it hurt like hell! they did it with a needle tho - im not sure if some places use a gun like on ears - that would prob be less painful!

I think it completely depends on the individual, sometimes it can look "chav". However i have a friend, actually i have, omg, i have 4 friends who have their nose peirced (sorry didnt realise so many of my friends have it done) and it looks amazing on all of them. On my friends it doesnt look chav at all, and looks completely different on each one of my friends, as they all have such different styles. So i think it can definatly look good. Even when they take it out you can hardly see the hole, looks like a tiny indent.
Dont know if it hurts or not though, one friend said it didnt though.

I think it can look good on the right person.
I know you can let the hole close up...obviously...but I would say that after a certain age it looks really bad. 40-yr-olds with nose piercings tend to look like mutton dressed as lamb!

Don't get it done with a gun. It will hurt more, and it will probably go wrong. If you want to keep your nose, go to someone who uses a needle.

I've got my nose pierced and I love it! I wear a tiny stud that just glints when it hits the light. It was a nice piercing to have done aswel as there were few complications and the piercing was relatively painful.

As with any piercing, get it done with a needle, not a gun. Eugh, somehow I doubt the people at Claire's Accessories clean those gun scaffolds often enough...
Whether it looks right depends on the shape of face, placement, type of jewellery, size etc. It's all a matter of opinion though - most people won't judge you on a tiny bit of metal in your nose :smile:

Iv had mine done for a while, and im not at all chavvy. :rolleyes:

It totally hurt, i think i cried, but i guess different people have different pain thresholds (mine is verrry low!) And youre only young once - if you want it done then go for it!

It's all to the person. I had my ear done with the 2.4mm needle and that didn't hurt at all, but I know people who've fainted at the sight of the needle.

i got mine done when i was about 14/15, just one of the tiny flat nose pins that sits flat against your nose and looks like a bit of sparkle. it did look really cute but then it's annoying when it's the middle of winter and you have a cold and constantly have to blow your nose...not pretty. i took it out eventually when i was about 16 because it started to have 'white trash' connotations, lol, and it healed evenly without a scar. it was practically closed up the next day!

to be honest i didn't think it hurt at all, i got it done with a gun though it was at a professional piercers, not like claire's accessories or anything! (i think only in new zealand would a proffessional use a gun however? I think most places would use a needle?!) but yeah, didn't hurt, looked cute and healed fine. so don't worry :smile:

Love, Love, LOVE IT! I'm going to get mine done in the future. 2 of my cousins have had it done and it looks brilliant, but I think it looks better on Indian people (which they are)

my friend had it done not long ago, along with her belly, several ear piercings and her tongue (eek)!
she said her nose piercing didnt hurt to much, personally i dont like them very much, it does look mint on some people tho, she looks good with it, i wouldnt though!
ewww could never have my tongue done though (ouch) x

i think it looks fab! and It dosnt hurt one little bit, i had mine done with a gun and a friend with a needle and I was less frightened than her! If you go to a decent place then they WILL clean everything properly, its not worth not doing it as they could get shut down! Like someone else said you're only young once!
