My boyfriend is away at uni, and once told me that he has cried himself to sleep because I'm not there, some nights.
Very, very soppy, but probably the most romantic thing he's ever said!

A surprise trip to Paris for our one-month anniversary
I remember I was ill once and had a high temperature which sent me a bit loopy and my ex said he wanted to buy me some flowers and I kept going on about how I wanted some blue ones. You can't really get blue flowers so he went to a florist and asked them about it and they put some blue dye in the water and they turned bue! It was way cute!!

Also I think getting random texts saying 'did I ever tell you how much i love you?' and 'you know I think you're insanely sexy'... love that, always puts a huge grin on my face!!

My boyf does romantic things all the time.
He invited me to Paris on New Year's Day 2005...he sent me chocolates 'just because'...he calls me his little princess...when we're walking along a pavement he always makes sure he's on the side where the cars are...need I go on?
ahhh, I'm a lucky girly.

I was going away for a month in the summer and my boyfriend wrote to me, which I then read when I got home, and I did the same with him. He put 'I feel like someone has taken away my heart and soul, absence makes the heart grow fonder' I was like  as he is really not the romantic or the 'wordy' type.
In the 9 months ive been with my boyfriend i dont think hes done anything remotly romantic :frown: hes taken me out for a few meals but thats about as far as he goes.....

I'm a complete romantic, i think the most romantic thing a girl did for me was pick me up when I fell on my arse ice-skating and trade sexual favours as she couldn't pay her half on a meal, I said she didn't need to, that I usually paid anyway but she seemed to want to

Anyway I once sent flowers to a girl in a diff. country and I do the whole wine and dine thing, plus I mind my P's and Q's; no more really.

Oh and I once flew down from scotland for her birthday.

He's clearly read the book
Got whisked away for Valentines day. Randomly bought flowers cause I was upset. Nothing to write home about. Dear god, I'm bitter....
I was shopping and having met my bf earlier on, suddenly when I was least expecting it he tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around and he said "I forgot to give you something....." Then he kissed me and took my breath away
