I am doing OCR additional maths and AQA statistics. You can only buy the ocr past papers of their website. You can get the gcse statistics past papers of the aqa website.

I'm doing AQA statistics this year as well, a small group of about 10 of us are attending once a week after school to revise the topics. Not too sure if I'll do well on it though, fingers crossed! :p:

The further maths is (afaik) actually FSMQ, not really a GCSE, you can't get an A* on it.

I was going to do GCSE stats but because its part of my a-level i don't think i'll bother. Still, I suppose i'd get GCSE without doing any additional work.

Doing the statistics gcse makes the s modules a lot easier when it comes to doing the a-level though and means they can be moved through faster. Thus making fast track maths a more managable task :smile:

Statistics is seperate to maths but it uses some of the techniques you use in maths. A bit like English and Lit. I'm doing foundation Stat, and the top grade I can get is a C. But I got it on the first mock we did. It depends on the tier you take.

They are seperate but like English and Lit in relation. If you understand what I'm saying

http://www.ocr.org.uk/qualifications/freestandingmathsquals/additional_mathematics/documents.html Does anyody know what style of exam the additional math is, when you look at the mark schemes the answers are only denoted by letter A to D implicating a multiple choice test, but i'm not certain, I would be thankful if somebody could help out. How are people finding the course? To me it just seems like a poormans as level (which i wish i could do but my school does not do it). I think it is only ocr that does the additional maths qualification.
