They some how manage to do so in the book. -_-

Which is why like 70% of people will put non-cyclic.

The book describes photophosphorylation first (inc the ETC) it then goes on to describe cyclic and non-cyclic. They are both photophosphorylation though so both involve the ETC part mentioned in the photophosphorylation part.

can you remember what the last statement was for where you got C?

I think the cyclic ones were:

The electron returns to the same photosystem it left.
Only involves photosystem I? (possibly - can't remember the exact statement)

Both were:

Produces ATP, involves electron transport chain and something else...

Non-cylic was:
Uses electrons from photolysis (WTTE)
Something about PSII replacing PSI electrons maybe?

Can't really remember :zomg:
FROM NHS/ DIABETES WEBSITE

"What are the symptoms of hyperglycemia?
The signs and symptoms include the following:

High blood glucose
High levels of sugar in the urine
Frequent urination "

so whoever wrote HYPERGLYCAEMIA OR DIABETIES, IS LIKELY TO HAVE GOT IT RIGHT.

what question is this???

Personally I don't think it will be, but we'll see when the mark scheme comes.

Well it will be because Diabetes Mellitus means 'sweet fountain' in latin

the one about the disease associated with glucose in the urine

what question is this for???

What is the likely cause of high blood sugar/ What is the condition called...

Answer is most likely hyperglycaemia.
Original post by Chris P Chicken.
No since you have to get an exact answer for the second mark.

Wrong did you look at sig fig in table?

It's basically when the nephrons become inflamed and the glomerulus is injured. Therefore, it isn't working. so I thought that glucose would not be reabsorbed

hang on wasn't the question why there is load proteins in urine???? and not glucose

i swear it was protein

and the answer would be hypertension

It was 100% glucose (my teacher got the paper straight after and went through it with us)

I'm pretty certain it'd be Diabetes Mellitus. Hypertension wouldn't explain it since it could be be selectivly reabsorbed in the proximal convoluted tubule. The only way that it'd be present is if it was in such high levels that the proximal convoluted tubule was unable to selectivly reabsorb it all

Well either way, nephritis means that proteins will not be filtered in glomerulus meaning it appears in the urine.

What about nephritis?
it was proteins

and the question after that was about why is a lot of urea excreted

there was only one diabetes question why was on the second page in the booklet

when do you think someone will put answers for the paper online like for c3?
