Both of those are still Ivy League and extremely competitive, if you aren't getting A*'s i'd advise against it.

There are loads of really good Universities in the US that aren't Ivy League though, maybe look into those?

Or see if any do an entrance test as part of the admissions process, if you could do well on that then maybe you'd have a chance.

Have you thought about Canadian or Australian Universities at all if you want to study abroad?

Can you recommend any good ones that aren't Ivy League please?

I've considered Australia, but it's too far away from home.

I've flirted with the prospect of studying in Canada.

Sorry, was that supposed to be the slightest bit amusing?

Your humour is terrible.

No. It's highly competitive and you had a 1% chance of getting it and now you have 5% that's a pretty good jump. Maybe if you do something spectacular on the side you'd have 10%. Remember that a) you're an international and B) retaking exams.

You should consider Australia and Canada. The two best universities in those countries are less competitive and require less grades than US best universities.

Eeep i'm not sure sorry! I imagine that the US has it's own rankings system like the UK does, maybe look at newspapers like the New York Times and see if they do them? Have a look around and I'm sure there must be some.

I'm sorry the only Uni's I can name off the top of my head are the Ivy Leagues! (which will be the ones which everyone has heard of).

There are some very good Unis in Canada, someone I know is going to McGill, try looking at that?

Also, have you thought about asking someone at your schools advice, most schools won't have anyone who's expert at foreign uni admissions but it's worth a try.

Still expensive though, so I may just stick to the UK after all. Is Toronto a good University?

Okay guys,

How hard is it exactly to get accepted as an international student to Harvard? Obviously if I do become an Escort, that job will pay for my tuiton fees and what not, so money's not really a problem to me. I'm just wondering whether it's a better Law School than Cambridge, or other Universities internationally. I don't really want to study in Asia or Europe. Thank you.

Good luck becoming a gay male escort. Shouldn't be a problem though- you're a very handsome man. :mmm:

I dont understand why this would be trying to be funny? You have poor GCSE grades, AS or A2 (i dont know) grades that wouldnt be good enough for the majority of UK universities for Law. I.e. no, you don't stand a chance at Harvard. If Harvard is your dream, then Xenopain's advice is your best bet.

The only university that would accept her would be a US equivalent of ex-polys. Even the not so internationally renowned universities like University of Southern California (which is kinda like the Sussex of the US) wouldn't accept her because their international applicants standards are very high especially the standards for people who need financial aid.

I'm sorry. I'm too much of an idiot to understand what you mean. How is one a full brick? Heavy and brown?

I'll take your word on it, I know the standards for the Ivy Leagues are extremely high but I have to say I'm not sure what they would expect at other lower down Uni's but what you say makes a lot of sense.

I see we agree on OP looking at Canadian or Australian Unis, I have to say I've heard really good things about Canada for higher education.

You can still change your choices in track up to seven days, right?
Kinda not so sure about my UK choices in UCAS anymore.
Lol @ HLS>OXBRIDGE
Havard law school is post-graduate, but for their undeergrad program there is no distinct requirements, but only 9% of people get in, and of the thousands of UK applicants, the only ones who get in are those who went to top grammars/independents, achieved 10+A*s at GCSEs, are doing god knows how many A Levels or the IB and getting top grades, top UMS, in all of them, are doing really well at maths and English (they want fantastic standards of calculus), captain every sports team, spend all their time volunteering and have powerful and rich oarents.

Don't be fooled by how good they are, the admissions attitude they have mean they will have a fall from grace soon. Even Cambridge are ranked above them in some league tables.
