Calories in pizza

Ok this is gonna sound really pedantic and ridiculous - but over a meal with friends in (ironically) pizza express this evening there was a discussion of roughly how many calories there are in a pizza - obviously it could vary widely depending upon how thick/ what toppings/ crust type blah blah blah - but no one could really agree on even a rough idea. (Not that it exactly matters in the world!!!!) but what do you reckon - in say an average margherita? like min max?

Pizza Express pizzas typically have around 600 - 900 calories depending on type. American Hot has 788 I believe. It's important to look at the amount of fat as well though...I'm guessing prob around 30g.

weight watcher pizza only have 200 calories and have some yummy ones chicken italano is really nice!!

Speaking of pizza, i ordered a pizza hut deep pan margerita last night. It arrived, I paid, opened it and it was half pepperoni, but like, EXTRA pepperoni. Luckily I am not vegetarian and it actually turned out to be very tasty. But I guess whoever wanted the pepperoni was pretty pissed off that they just got a margerita....
