I know everyone has to be one at first and they have good intentions. But what is with them starting thousands of random threads? Its really bugging me.

In my opinion, you're a newbie.

Do you judge newbieness by age when joined or by post count?

I remember when there was a "seniority" system people were trying to make up a while ago.

257 posts is pretty much newbie, and 00leam2 is the main person making random threads every 3 seconds.

You seem to be pretty reasonable.

Though asking to see if you are a newbie is a sure sign of newbish behaviour.

Newbish? Is that a word? If not, it should be. I like it.

Infact, most of you are newbies, there's very few left from the 'core'.

Take bono for example, he spams, fiddles rep and even has a higher postcount than me.

Still, he is the newbie.

have to admit that it is confusing sometimes when members have the same avatars, usually they are the one you look at when looking for a particular post, it is easy to take you for someone else.

I am a new member. I thought this site seemed quite friendly and still think it is depite seeing posts regularly against new members. I find the academic section the most helpful and like the friendly community there.
