if i have the balanced equation
2Al + 2NaOH + 6H2O ---> 2NaAl(OH)4 + 3H2
If initially i start off with 5 grams of Al = 0.37 moles, how many grams of NaOH and H2O will i have/ need.
I calculated that i would need 29.6 grams of NaOH
and 120 grams of H2O
is this correct??
please someone give me a hand, LOL

If 5 grams of Al is 0.37 moles that means you want 0.37 moles of NaOH and 1.11 moles of water. Use the mass= Mr x moles equation to find their masses.
