Crap, basically. The intention is to broaden our education.

The Edexcel syllabus consists of Culture, Science and Soceity, in no particular depth or interest.

I'm aware of someone who didn't attend a lesson all year and walked away with a B. If you've half a brain cell and are not as ignorant as an extremist religious zellot with their head burried in the sand you'll get along fine.
2. if you're doing (1+0.01)^30 for example, to find the 15th coefficient of x (0.01) you press on your calculator 30nCr15

Is that right? Something like that.

Factorial.

E.g. 10! = 10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1.

It means factorial.
eg
7!= 7*6*5*4*3*2*1

n! means n factorial, i.e. you multiply all numbers from 1 to n.

e.g. 4! = 1*2*3*4 = 24

k i was wonderin cos all my university offers sed that they didnt accept general studies, so what's the point of having it then ...

I've often wondered this myself.

Universities lower down the league rankings sometimes accept it, and it's part of mine (and other) school's crusade to further our horizons.

Yep, it's compulsory at mine.

Some do. Mine made all those with less than three AS Levels take it. So I got off it.

yeah there are ppl in my school doing 2 but there aree not that many at all , maybe only 2 actually lol

hmmm i didnt know abt the citizenship, i thought it was just PSHE, thats what it is at DC n e way, they seem to be changing it all the time
