    Hello chemists,

Will post details later, but if you've done "AS10 Observation exercise based on Group 7 chemistry", then pls help me identify with the compounds G, H and I.

Questions about the specific observations/inferences later...

    Cheers

Anyways, any idea what the solids are....? I know G is a sodium halide, and H and I are potassium halides.

Someone help me with solid I:

    - Oxygen is given off when heated
    - Colourless solution of I becomes orange-brown with the addition of nitric acid
    - white ppt. given after addition of silver nitrate
    - Addition of aqueous ammonia causes white fumes and orange-brown solution becomes colourless, white ppt. dissolves
