Interviewing international students

Hello.


I've read that international students aren't required to attend an interview but are given offers/rejections right away. Is this true?
I'm living in Slovakia and it would be kind of weird to travel to England several times for interviews.

Hey, I'm also an international student planning on studying in the UK, and I am almost 100% sure that international students are never called out to the UK just for interviews. I have heard that it may be done over skype or just a regular phone call, but I don't know whether that's true or not.
