    Why not sing the national anthem and other patriotic songs? It's important to cheer the team on; so far England fans have been much louder than opposition fans in any game they've played.

    They may have an "easier" relationship to national symbols/ songs than the Germans have- but many other nations also have, though I haven't noticed that their fans did something like that.
