yeh that would be awesome for liverpool. Which team would you want to draw in the 2nd round of the CL btw? I think as long as you avoid bayern and real, any draw is good.
The only team we need to avoid is Bayern. Real, on current form, are atrocious and wouldn't be a disaster by any means. Rangers would be nice, but then Werder Bremen, Ajax, Benfica or PSV would be no harder.

He does. But Benitez is a better manager than Erikson. He probably knows exactly how to get the best out of Gerrard.

Not playing him at left wing/defensive midfielder would be a start. There's no manager in the world I'd take over Benitez.

We're both incredibly biased, but i totally agree with you. It's unbelievable what he's done for us already

The joys of being a blinkered Liverpool fan. Ignorance is bliss.

There is an 8 letter word beginning with b that should be in that sentence, and it's not business

I'm going to try and be original and go with Chilavert, back in his days - good goalkeeper and scored a few goals too

Its against the run of things, but Rooney could be a complete player. I' like to see him orchestrating United's midfield - well i wouldnt because i think he would be damn good.
But Gerrard - he's not the best holding midfielder but he's deffo box to box and a team player.

He's been amazing lately. Absolutely works his knackers off every game, as Jocky quite rightly says. Wouldn't swap him for anyone in his position.

i've rather have a gerrard than a lampard, essien, duff, and cole, which is what gerrard seems to do for us...

They can go arse themselves. I'm struggling to think of a player who gives what he does.
