ive got an offer and an email.
ive been sitting thinking "what sport can i do???" but im guessing none, to that level! ah well..it would have been nice!
I've got an offer (For Maths) and the sports scholarship e-mail. I'm maybe planning to apply for a scholarship in karate (do they do that? lol)

i've got an offer and that email too. i play sport at a high level so i thought it was a personalised email! obviously not
I've just got this email too. I've applied for Law and haven't had another e-mail confirming a place, nor has it appeared on track (as of 5mins ago).

Exeter's my 2nd choice and i'd very happily go there. Too early to start celebrating yet do we think?

perhaps.

it's my first choice so i really don't want to get my hopes up...just in case they are just teasing me.

Oh my god, me too!

I'm having serious doubts as to whether I want to go to London, Birmingham etc...And whether I don't just want to go to Exeter which is an hour away in nice little Devon.

And then I had this email. I nearly burst with excitement - I asked Mummy and she thought it meant I had an offer (says at the bottom about 'see you soon') which she thought'd be cruel if they then didn't give you an offer.

It's the only one I'm waiting for. Oh come ON Ex! I've been waiting since November!

Yah, that too! I thought it was my national level horseriding, hockey and swimming that had nailed it!

Got the email too and still waiting for a reply for History and Anciet History, got my hopes up with "We look forward to welcoming you to Exeter and helping you fulfil both your sporting and academic ambitions" at the end of the email. Hopefully a good omen of things to come!

Also received, but no offer...

It's like torture.................
I had that email.I then checked track and I have an offer.

Will certainly be taking that up if Durham don't want my services.
Nothing on track :frown:

I just want to put it as my firm, then I don't have to bother with trekking around the country going to see uni's I keep saying I want to go to. Lets be honest, I don't want to leave Devon.

Come on Ex, it's annoying me now...I just want the offer! Please.

hey angel,

Well I would like to know how flexible the course is, in terms of module options for one thing. I'm kinda annoyed they havn't got back to me yet, and I submitted the 25 Nov!

You've definitely got an offer. No doubt about it.

I think that if you get that sports email, you're pretty certainly going to get an offer - I got the email and I got an offer two days ago  . In contrast, a friend of mine got rejected, and didn't get the email.

Good luck everyone though!

yeah the last poster had a point. I got in to Exeter in Cornwall last year and got the email before I got an offer. I'm applying to Exeter this year, I got the email and although I love the university with all my heart, I've gotta say that they're slow (or at least UEC were) at transferring offers from their database to track. They make sure they get all the useful stuff out first.

I don't make any guarantees but I'm about 75% sure this means we all get offers.

WOO well done Alex!
Don't, I'll start running around the house screaming  I'm not even joking, the suspense is totally killing me.

(Congratulations Alex, you so wanted that offer...Hopefully i'll see you at Exeter!!)
