Just wondered if anyone here goes to havering sixth form? Just to see how many people from my college actually use this forum. Post if you study there.

you could simply ask around your school or use the search option
not me, sorry

yay for the HSFC people! All 2 of us! (a bit late but whatever)

btw, I did a search just out of interest, and there are about 10 of us but they all have a maximum of like 2 posts each and haven't logged in in ages so I doubt we will be seeing them

That's near me! Wow! I know someone who's planning to go there next year. I've heard some bad stories... but each to their own!

Its not that bad I guess. The teaching is good for most subjects and the exam results are generally around the national average. You do get the feeling that you are at a "qualification factory" though - they refused to add a common room because they want to encourage us to study more during our free periods and also the timetable is more intense than at most schools; 8.45-4.10 most days. They are both minor concerns but a bit annoying at times

Unfortunatly the really devastating thing is that freeradical doesn't go there

What are the entry requirements? It's not like Redbridge college, with NO entry requirements, is it? Do any students there go off to Oxbridge or top London unis? Thanks.

To do A Levels you need 5Cs at GCSE including Maths and English with at least one B but they do other courses like GNVQ with lower entry requirements but most people there are doing A Levels. I know one person in my year who got into Oxford and seeing as their were about 25 Oxbridge applicants, I would guess there would be quite a few more and a lot of people get into top London unis
