Twisted Dreams

Does anyone else have any weird or recurring dreams, I get recurring dreams about my teeth falling out. usually it is a feeling of something stuck in my teeth and they are kind of loose. then when i bite down my teeth are brittle and they split and crack and come out into my hands with blood aswell. in one dream i had the sensation of something stuck in my teeth and when i bit down there was big shards of green glass stuck in my gums and around my teeth, i was chewing the glass trying to get it out but it wasn't working, again there was blood. This one hasn't recurred but i get the usual teeth falling out dream about every 2-3 weeks and have done for a couple of years. I'm also dentist-o-phobic, common i know but linked?, probably

there isn't such a thing as no dreams at all...there is only you dream, or you don't remember your dream. that's the case for me. I don't have dreams, (or don't remember ever having them at all in the first place) but when I do dream, they're really weird dreams.

I freaked my boyfriend out one day by telling him about a dream I had the night before about me visiting his house (which I've never been to before). My description of the house was wrong, but when I described his brother and his mother, he was FLOORED! one part of my dream involved falling through nothing and he said that people usually dream that they're falling when they astral project themselves from their body. It's freaky to think that my spirit left me in the middle of the night or something...lol. but yeah, when I dream, I dream WEIRD dreams like this falling thing or seeing random things and my surroundings all in an infrared mode or something.

for you, I think it's the dentist. LOL. but hey, you're not the only one with weird dreams.
Every night!

I shouldn't worry about it I don't belive dreams really mean anything. Well they best not, I usually dream about death or murder, and vampires and zombies and axe murderes and so on. Don't you just wish you could record your dreams and watch them back in the morning, they'd make absolutley no sense!

Your also supposed to have around ten dreams a night, so I imagine you just remember the weirdest one

Damn! i've had that exact same dream... it hate it... I remember crying it that dream once!! I'd run my tongue along my teeth and they'd fall out, or they'd wiggle like they did when I was 5 and then they'd fall out... !

I had a similar dream the other night, but, could have possibly been an advert/channel flicking involving a woman who hadn't brushed for 20 years freaking me out!

I always have dreams about being in love.
You might laugh and say its just my dreams about a boy, but it isn't. I very seldom know the boy I'm in love with, and quite often I know he has to leave soon, so I'm desperately in love with him but know it's coming to an end, which always leaves me crying when I wake up.

Oh yea and the teeth falling out is about your concerns of your appearcence and how you afraid of being embarassed.

They're screw worms. They're pretty much extinct - i've seen them before; they're nasty.
Every night I have really clear dreams and I can remember them really clearly the next day. All my dreams are connected with my fears and stuff that is going on in my life - but it doesn' bother me, lol! I have had nightmares about the dentist, when I was little, but not anymore.

other awful dreams I've had are ones where you die in your dream, the ones where you fall and wake up with a start really irritate me...

then I've said before on here, I've been shot in a dream once and the pain was atrocious, i've never felt anything like it. god knows what was going on in my mind but the pain from being shot in my dream was unbelievable... and I think I cried in my dream because of the pain but I couldnt wake up...

was a really weird feeling when I actually did wake up.
Erm can I just say that I quite possibly have the most twisted sub-conscious mind ever.
My dreams have included my mum being chased through Asda by Dracula holding some lettuce (or it could have been cabbage.) The sky was orange, if I recall and there was nothing but lettuce/cabbage being sold in the whole of Asda. If people ate the lettuce, they became weird vampire things.
Yes..
And there was also this horrific recurring nightmare I had as a child about a woman called (wait for it) Swallow-Swallow. It actually went beyond the realms of my dreams into affecting my life. She was awful. She used to randomly appear wherever I was and do horrible things. And there was often music to accompany her arrival.
*shudders*
And people ask me why I'm an odd person...

Apparently, that means that your sleep isn't very good - if you are properly asleep you won't remember your dreams. I also can remember my dreams, and sometimes two or three of them - not just one.

Today I dreamt I had 4 twins - 2 boys and 2 girls all 3 y.o. When I woke up I could remember the names of the boys and the name of one of the girls  That's an unusual dream for me though, I sometimes dream about people I know and that they were dead (not all at once, but in separate dreams), and sometimes of places I've been to, and sometimes people I know who have never met each other talking etc.

Dreams are weird by definition!!!

It's the same as finding out in your dream that you've suddenly no clothes on or your hair has all fallen out. It's down to worry.

Has anyone read Freud's theory on dream analysis? It's quite humourous though maybe disturbing to some of you. All his interpretations are to do with the same thing; sexual desire. He thinks that we hide our sexual desires by subliminating them with other objects. For example dreams about mountains, rocks, sticks, umbrellas, poles and trees represent a male's sexual organ. Dreams about knifes, daggers, lances, sabres, swords... and fire arms: guns, rifles, revolvers and cannons, represent deep penetration. Lighter penetration would be water-related things like pipes, watering-pots and fountains. Objects that can be lengthened such as hanging lights, extensible pens, aerials, as well as objects like balloons, airplanes, helicopters and rockets all represent an errection. Objects like shafts, pits and caves, vessels and bottles, boxes, suitcases, tins, pockets, closets, stoves and ships represent the female sexual organ as well as dreaming of passages and doors, churches, chapels, castles, mansions, fortresses and even landscape itself. Climbing and going down the ladder or stairs and running inside a house all represent sexual intercourse. Sliding, slipping and breaking branches are symbols of masturbation. Now to the part most important to this topic! Freud believes teeth falling out are symbols of castration as a punishment for masturbating (castration's complex). Now we all have dreams about one of these objects (even if we can't remember) don't we? So basically Freud is suggesting we all have huge sexual desires bursting to get out. If you ask me, I think Freud is sex-mad, all his psychology theories on different situations is in relation to sex. Hope you people enjoyed my little psychology rant!
Freud was but a glorified nympho.

I have twisted ones too, I can't tell people though they will think im a psycho, in one of them I went to see my hamster in his cage and he had no head u could just see the blood and bone uhh..but what I don't get is why didn't I think 'uhh' in my dream? I just thought 'oh look' like it was normal. Ive also had one where a tiny snake was going through the bars to the hamster and I was holding the snakes tail and it was wriggling through trying to get in the cage.. its mad!

No idea why I have a lot about my hamster, probably cause I see him last thing before I go to bed :p:

Oh my goodness, I thought I was the only one. I have horrible recurring dreams about my jaw getting stuck and my teeth falling out, it is really really really painful and I always worry about what I'm actually doing to my teeth in the night when I wake up. It's really horrific and whats worse is that I can't think of any reason why I get these dreams.
At least I know I'm not alone now!

Your subconcious speaks to you through dreams. When you dream something it means that something is in your mind that you maybe have not thought about enough or that you haven't noticed...anyways...Since i was a very small girl, every time i have a rough time, i dream about waves, tsumami's... I dreamed one last night. so ****ed up....
