Sorry I'm just rambling now...
But what's wrong with studying something you're very passionate about? I know so many people that were pressured into studying top subjects that they don't really like and now I just feel sorry for them. I also think it's very hard to excel at something you don't love.
Whenever I think about my granny I feel so proud- she went to university (!) and I have this really cool photo of her with other students having a smoke and wearing some pretty interesting- looking trousers (
) when almost no women were doing that sort of thing. I never feel like she's really gone because I can remember her and do her justice when I tell people about her
I'm sure it will be the exact same with your grandmother, she sounds awesome
