For people who are doing maths interviews, they don't expect you to be able to know FM inside out as most schools haven't done the whole syllabus. However, they do expect that you know your basic maths skills and are able to apply it to difficult problems.

nooo, just a few friends who applied to other college's had to, so i panicked. i've serached through every email i've recieved and can't find mentioon of one. have you recieved many from st john's i havent heard from them at all, except for some infor about SAQ and camtools

Same here, nothing new since then. I have heard that they are starting to send out invitations sometime this week though.

Just received my interview call for Thursday 8th December for Fitzwilliam College; very happy to have made it to interview :biggrin:

I'm sure those waiting will hear soon enough - I was told it's over the next two weeks where most invitations are made.

. annoying as I don't think they'd possibly have had time to read through the work they asked me to send, but I guess it was just worth a try anyway.

Sorry to hear that, they seem to be rejecting loads pre-interview this year :frown:

I think I remember that you were applying for PPS though, and that's a crazily competitive subject! I think it's almost on a par with medicine, the website says that there are 6 applicants for every place!

And now you can use your Exeter offer :smile:

Google it I guess, ask your school for info (if they get a few people into oxbridge every year), revise econ and maths, but as the guy said above its more of a discussion so just make sure you relax.

Why is your interview so early?

I am an international applicant. Cambridge is conducting interviews in my country in the last week of Nov and first week of Dec. Hence, I got an interview call early.
