Got an interview invitation from Caius today for law

I'm an international applicant for law at Cauis. I'm still waiting for an interview date or reject. Did you get your dates by post or email? What were your grades and UMS like?

Same here! From Canada, to be specific. I haven't received an interview invitation either (for law) and seeing someone hear back from Caius today is making me really anxious

I hate to be pedantic, but if it makes you feel any better, Architecture is quantatively more competitive

I can't complain. I'm applying for CompSci, which isn't so bad in terms of competition. But if I hear any Classics applicants complaining, I may scream.

Ha, my subject is one of the least competitive (Theology)

...Doesn't stop me panicking at all these rejections though :s-smilie:

Anyone applied for law at Trinity Hall? Any news regarding the interviews? Anxious.
Me !! Nothing as yet but I heard that they already gave out some pre-interview rejections the week before ...

Thanks.

Thanks.

I am an international applicant. Cambridge is conducting interviews in my country in the last week of Nov and first week of Dec. Hence, I got an interview call early.

Oh, right. Pakistani, I see. Well good luck, I'm applying for Economics at Caius, so perhaps we'll meet each other there one day!

Hey I think you made the right choice, just as I did! St. John's is the most beautiful college with the Bridge of Sighs over a creek. It also has one of the finest college choirs and a dining chief who holds a Michelin star!

Law and Medicine are competitive at any college anyways...

I'm the same! I've been checking my emails constantly for the last week but nothing :frown: Probably only invitations for overseas applicants for early interviews have been sent so far...

What are you applying for?

FML four people from my school applied for Cambridge Law and I am the only one who has not received an interview yet :frown:

Maybe try replacing your sense of entitlement with one of patience, see how that works out brah.

Just got a rejection letter through this morning :frown:. annoying as I don't think they'd possibly have had time to read through the work they asked me to send, but I guess it was just worth a try anyway.

I got a rejection letter too... and I hadn't even sent my essays in yet as the deadline's Friday :L ah well, pretty relieved to be honest (: one less stress about something my heart wasn't fully in  Sorry though!

History interview invite from Selwyn College 12th-13th of December!

Reply 794

Right, I have received an email from Pembroke now in which they said they are mailing out responses, whether that be interview offers or rejections I assume, to people interested in Cambridge :dontknow:

Not quite sure what this means for me.

This is very comforting! it's also nice to find other St John's applicants: despite it being one of the largest colleges there's a surprising dearth of SJC applicants on TSR! What have you applied to read?

Sadly that doesn't fill me with confidence as they're all probably hard at work... Also since I have two friends with deferred places to do music (which is what I've applied for), so that's those spaces gone... :s-smilie:
What's your subject?

Has anyone heard from Trinity for Maths? The wait is honestly killing me!

Anyone heard from Kings?
