Attached to this email is your invitation to attend for interview at Queens’ College, Cambridge.

F*CKING YESSSSSSSSSSSS. SO excited.

Now to actually go READ the invite... :ahee:[

Congrats. When is it? And good luck with coming up with topics for the interview (I suppose they asked you, too, to list some).

I've got an interview at Pembroke!

But there's a problem I think; I'm trying to confirm this interview on their website and I've clicked the box which asks if you want lunch as "yes" and when I try to submit the information it says "A problem has been detected; you have not specified whether you require lunch on the day of your interview. Please go to the luncheon page to confirm"

What is going on?

Last year it was all done by snail mail. No such problems.

Phone them if it doesn't work by Monday

Or they will tell us tomorrow or on Sunday, as admissions people seem to work at 2 am as well (or something like that)!

Probably wishful thinking on my part, but hey, I can hope...

So do the students :frown:

Good to know someone is in the same position. I applied to Christ's Econ and haven't heard back yet. Think it may have something to do with the written work deadline only being Tuesday. Guess we just have to sit tight?

Well Done! Are you from the UK? I'm wondering whether I need to frantically check my emails or the post!

Yup. I received it via post today and it was sent yesterday, so, if you're applying to St. John's, there's a chance you can get it soon.

The same! I guess we'll be meeting then. I've applied to be considered for accommodation on the 8th. Hope they'll let me, I really want to stay there at least once.

ohh see you then  I will be the short girl lol what time are yours? mine are in the afternoon. I wanted to stay over but my parents are insisting that they drive me there on the day because they think I would get lost on the train *rolls eyes*

Haha guess that's it's purpose! I know, it's so annoying when so many people have then
Erm no, I went on the general open day and visited it. Was there anything special in that one?

Internet hugs! I hope you're doing well, and that the workload isn't stressing you too much. :hugs:

I too end up working at 2 am sometimes, but that's because I procrastinate a lot and end up panicking in the middle of the night.

I'm loving it really but sometimes it would be nice to be able to sit down doing nothing for 5 minutes without feeling guilty!

Sounds like you already have the Cambridge spirit:biggrin:

The short girl, I'll remember to look out for you. I'll be the ginger guy. Mine start first thing in the morning so 9:00 and I'll be sticking around for lunch. My mum still isn't keen on me staying over (and thinks that I probably won't be allowed to) but I'm being stubborn.

Well done! :smile:Was it a letter or an email? Wish Pembroke would hurry up and reply

Thank you! It was a letter, though I got an email from them a couple days ago saying you will hear from us by 30th november at the latest. One of my friends got rejected from pembroke for medicine, and she got the letter the day they sent the email, so I wouldn't worry too much! What are you applying for?

London, you?
The pool is brilliant! You just cant top the oldest outdoor swimming pool in the country. I thought the accommodation looked and was just amazing.

Haha. *thinks* Nothing like that… it's just not inconvenient for me to get there so it's almost unfair.
