i got an offer today on track and in the conditions section i just noticed it says:
"Obtain at A level grades AAA including Maths and Economics from your future examinations."
Having already done maths last year will that count as a future examination?
can anyone shed any light or should i call them up and see?
thanks.

When you mean you've already taken maths, you mean A2 maths right? If so then I'd call them up just to make sure, probably just a minor error on their side. Pretty strange wording they're using though :p:

Which is to say; when your prior attainment in Maths and Economics is ultimately taken into account alongside that for future examinations, the end result must equal or exceed 'AAA'.

That wouldn't be the case: I think Economics offers were AAB where Maths A-Level has already been completed, rather than a four subject offer.

mine said "6,6,6 in your HLs Excluding Italian", so i guess its just their way of going at things ... do u take 4 A-levels? that could explain such a wording

i have done A level maths (uncashed) and currently do further maths, physics and economics.

They obviously made a mistake as you've already had your Maths grade certified. Call them up and clarify it with them. If you've already obtained a Grade A in Maths then the offer should be AA (two A levels, one to be Economics), however if you've obtained a Grade B in Maths then they will be expecting you to acheive a Grade A in it. This explains why the offer is AAA (although if you already have an A in Maths then they've made a mistake in the offer).

well they replied and it turns out they include uncashed A levels as future examinations: they want AAA in maths, economics and one other subject.

Yeah. Obviously, because you do Further Maths, you would've finished your Mathematics A2 in one year. However, if you didn't cash it, they're not going to know (some that take Maths and Further Maths still don't finish A2 Maths after the first year as they learn both syllabuses concurrently).

retrospect is a great thing.
