I had FP2 yesterday too, only thing i couldn't answer was the 3 mark bit on the approximante errors... and it took me agggges to realise that nh = 1 was a useful bit of info!

The only thing on the paper that couldn't have gone better was hyperbolic functions. Those questions were practically from the MEI book/Spec paper (in fact i'm quite sure i've seen it before....)

Sinh
Pronounced "Sinsh", "Sinch", "Shine" or "Sine-ch"? Who knows...

I love that geeky maths quote from the book..wait:

"If I feel unhappy, I do mathematics to become happy. If I am happy, I do mathemematics to keep happy". Classic.

"Shine", "Cosh" and "Than" of course. Thats "Th-an", not like the word 'than'.

Not that you know me (im new here, not in the just born way) but do you not realise that maths is what holds and binds us all together? Or perhaps we could talk about cheese, palentology or the low alcohol desposition that chinese people have. I find these subjects very suitable.

What a random person you are...

^^Let's talk about cheese. You go first.
Cheddar cheese= hard cow’s milk cheese with a flavour that varies from mild, sweet, and lightly salty, to full and nutty, depending on its age and method of production.... :p:
You can all go back to talking about maths now..

Before returning to maths, I have to say I completely disagree with the concept of mild cheddar. It's a waste of (potentially) good cheese.
meh, cheese is overrated anyway...

Just to randomly butt in to say I totally agree...

Oh old school template I haven't yet filled in:
College applied to: Christ's
Course: Medicine
Conditions: AAA (A in further maths, and Bio+Chem)+AEA Chem Merit

ah a boy medic. welcome  was beginning to think the male medic breed had died out entirely!

ah ur school has the distinctive uniforms doesnt it? i have to wear grey socks, so not quite as exciting as ur yellow numbers unfortunetly :p:

I would have to definitely agree with you there. Very few guys, although complaining about that would seem rather strange though. I guess women just make better doctors, although I have to say there are always exceptions to the rules. Oh and its the lack of alcohol dehydrogenase that enables me to get wasted oh so stupidly quickly. Anyone saw DVC btw?

Going back on topic, whilst I am fond of cheddar, I do like a bit of Edam. I've never tried Wensleydale though. I think I should make an effort to, seeing as Wallace likes it so much.

Hi everyone!

You're alive!!!

Have your exams finished already?!

I've had a shocking revelation! Edam is made backwards! Amazing. Wensleydale is over rated, as with most things flung into stardom thanks to cinema. Although I have heard rumours that stinking bishop is something special...

Red Leicester is where it's at
Bit of Blue Stilton anytime. There's a sandwich place in Cockermouth that does a gorgeous Stilton and Pear baguette.
