Hopefully going interrailing, starting in Prague and ending up in Madrid just over a month later, to come back the day before results. Not sure if we can go yet though. Then perhaps a trip to Dublin and a holiday with loads of mates somewhere in England. I'm trying to make the most of the summer with little work! Where's everyone else going?
I think I'm going to miss my further maths A after today, M4 went sooo badly for me, there were some things i just couldn't do and the bits i could do i made numerical errors on. I need to have a blinder on FP1, 2 and 3 now.

oh well and i hate my netball team now too, i think i might just quit, but it's not as easy as that, then i throw away all chance of making it into the england set up. I just can't take my team mates bullying me every week.

Really sorry, i didn't mean to rant like that, a happy thought is i think my physics went really well this morning

wow that sounds amazing. Im still trying to get out of going on holiday with my parents for a whole *month*, im using the whole 'its the last summer with my friendsssss' thing- anyway i've nagged myself down to two weeks with them i think. If i dont go away for a whole month i'l go to Sweden to see a friend, I was also meant to be going france with some friends and maybe get a job for a bit. Thats it so far, probably do something completely different as no one is organised and we havnt booked anything yet:eek:

We haven't booked anything yet, apart from the flights which I booked in March so that we could get them cheap. I don't live with my parents, so I get out of the family holiday no problem! After GCSEs though, I took two friends with me on my family holiday so that's always an option (depending what type of holiday it is).

Ssshhhh no more talk about maths exams, if only because it makes me feel ill  . I'm going with my boyfriend of two and a half years, so yeah, it'll be interesting. Although he only speaks English so he's relying on me a bit, but we'll probably be ok where we're going. You'll have a great time in Rwanda, although the prospect does sound a little scary! About 40 people in my year group went to Tanzania last summer and climbed up Kilimanjaro and did voluntary work and they all loved it.
yeah maths makes me feel ill as well. hopefully there shall be henceforth no more talk of maths. we should start a french rebel discussion to make up for all the maths talk. *ahem*

ah thatll be great. have u any dea what places ud like to visit yet or are u going to just see where the wind takes u as it were? ach im sure ill love rwanda and have a ball. but its quite a scary prospect at the mo  i went out to buy clothes for going today and it just made the whole thing seem far more real. i havent even met some of the folk im going yet either. worrying :p:

Something like: Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels (& around Belgium), Paris, Switzerland somewhere for a day, southern france, venice, rome, naples, rome, milan, barcelona (stopping somewhere else in france on the way) then madrid and then home! So a busy itinerary but we want to fit as much in as possible. All the equipment that people had to buy for going to Africa was really expensive, like proper sleeping bags etc. Have you had to buy much?
well i got all of my clothes (like for working/evenings/sleepwear/events) for less than £100 (primark is my friend ) which was good. still have to get malark like a mosi net, gloves, medical stuff and the like but im hoping it won't cost too much. shoes might be a bit dearer but its worth having good shoes that aren't going to fall apart after a day. in all fairness im not paying for any of this though (raised the money for it through fundraising) and recently the catenians decided to give me £500 () so i can get everything i need plus probs have a good bit left over to give to the charity im going with.

oh and wow thtll be great. sounds like exactly my kind of holiday. rome is amazing, easily my favourite city. i was there in oct with my school and it was brill. paris and barcelona are fantastic too. barcelona will be fab this time of year. oooh ur so lucky!
That's cool . If we can go interrailing, I'm going to need a huge trip to primark I think for loads of plain tshirts and shorts!

I did that  World Challenge?
You all have such exciting plans... *tries not to be too jealous* :p:

climbed up Kilimanjaro

To the top? It is a relatively straightforward climb apparently, just takes a few days. Over summer I am planning to climb the 12 Welsh 3000ers - aim is to do it in one day as it is the amount of time it took my father when he was 21.
Shares jealously of all these exciting plans :p: - I'm sort of booked up till around mid July, then I've got nadda planned.....Poobummery!

No, it was something arranged by our school, it's a long established thing but they go to different places every year. They went right to the top, and when they started to climb it, they were bringing a dead body down, so I wouldn't say it's easy because the conditions were awful, with little sleep over the days, starting walking at 1am or 3am, not much food etc.

:ditto:
This summer is going to be great though. I'm so excited about everything! Summer, holidays, friends, uni... It's quite odd.
Does anyone else get really sad about the thought of leaving friends this summer? None of my friends are going to my firm or insurance choices, and we've all been together since year 7- its going to be sad :frown:
