Hey everyone! well, am back, and not a moment too soon it seems - keep strong noooni!

But where have i been? In hospital, since saturday, and am feeling loads better - have put back on half a stone! Although will need to stay on steriods for a few weeks, maybe even longer...

hospital life is fascinating - wish i applied for medicine now! although at one point some crazy guy went to my window and started trying to break it with a an eletric fan... he made a massive crack in it!

Anyway, life goes on....

That reminds me, where did friendlyneutron go? :p:

She's in Florida, won't be back for two weeks or so methinks.
(Though, she does appear to have some sort of 'net access...)

Oh Uz_Master good to hear you are getting better! That does sound rather fascinating; here was me thinking that programmes like Holby City exaggerated hospital life eh :p:

I'm off on holiday in August and I plan to make a complete break from the internet *awaits annexation from the board* but I'm also quite scared as to how my pasty/nocturnal frame will cope with the holiday sun!!! The things that the internet does to a gal eh

heh?
my holiday destination this year doesn't even have mobile reception... i think i might actually die!

we are currently having a new bathroom fitted, and my room shares a wall with the bathroom, is a little noisy, and the water is off at the moment and it is about a million degrees here in london, something to do with large population density and too many cars i think!

I'm meant to be hanging pictures in my room today, but i can't find the right nails or the thingy that finds the wires in the walls, and i do absolutly have to hang something below a wall mounted light, there is no where else i could possibly consider hanging my white board!

I've also been promised new clothes if i throw some out to make room for them, but i can never decide what to keep and what to give away!

Yes i am very bored, how did you guess!!

wow! Its great that you better so quickly! Hope you'r fully recovered soon :hugs:
Heylo! Still in Florida but it's absolutely gishing it down just now (I just saw a tree literally explode after being struck by lightning... rather amusing). I'm on this crazy TV/internet thing just now, almost as disturbing as this car advert I saw here the other day; "sticks to the road like a positively charged electron"... or not. Anyway I'm glad you're feeling a bit better uz and congrats to the IBers who got the grades they needed! (27 more days till SQA results, eep. Sorry, it had to be said)
Hey it's Friendlyneutron!

And Uz is back! I didn't realise your problem was so serious :frown: but am glad you're better(ish)! Get well soon! (You gotta love a bit of Holby City for the outrageous story lines - as if every patient tells the nurses all the details of their life history and private life!)

That countdown thing - oh dear. Although it kind of had me mesmerised for a minute!

It's hypnotic isnt it
Glad you're feeling better Uz

Venezia, gorgeous city, crap shops, crap food, smelt of same. Sunday night was fun though, they really have no idea how to measure drinks over there *_* . After a long trip back, went straight up to my Sister's graduation ceremony plum on the crust of nowhere (Aberwysthhyrywtyh) , came back the same day. Today has been splendedly lazy, ahhhhh....now for the boredom to kick in 8)

See? Florida, internet...I know all! (Or maybe I just got very bored and browsed Bebo, both good)
Your comment regarding results reminds me miss neutron, we must arrange something for the 8th; whether victory drinks or sorrow-drowning, we shall be needing large quantities of alkyhol...

Sounds like everyone is having a more-interesting holiday than me. All I've done is attempt to tidy my room :frown: Not an easy task, given the mess that accumulated due to my lack of leaving it during exam time, but not exactly Super Happy Fun Time either. Most exciting event so far has been trying to catch an elusive pet rat
*is exceedingly bored*

uz_master, good t'hear you're feeling better! And nooni, regarding dial-up I have this advice: at least you'll have time to get good at Minesweeper!Sorry, that's the best thing I can think of...
I havent reached the point of tidying my room yet, although my parents are trying to nudge me in that direction! The place is a tip, it'll take forever. :frown:
All this about dial-up - is this as opposed to broadband? In that case I have dial-up all the time!

i actually got bored and did it of my own accord the other day. things are already starting to pile up like...

I've had the house to myself (mum on holidays) for a week and a half now so it's not just my room but the entire place that is a complete tip... and she's back on Sunday, which now feels very soon :frown: *tidy frenziedly*

Thanks everyone! You're all stars
