I hate this waiting! Got my recommended reading list today and randomly burst into tears, it was a bit embarrassing. I'm just so frustrated! Is anyone else getting to the point where they're starting not to care either way, but they just want to know? /rant sorry. :frown:

Indeed, whenever my brain gets a free moment it starts imagining what it'd be like to succeed, then what it'd be like to fail, or to succeed, or fail, or succeed, or fail...I just want it to end! If ever there was a reason to build a time machine, this is it...

Apparently ucas track goes live at 8am on the 17th....im not sure whether to check before going to school, and if i do and see that iv missed my offer, do i still go to school and face the vultures that are year 12 and my teachers? hmmm....i don't want to live that day :

I find it so weird how you guys have to go to school to get your results, we get them posted out to us... why do they do it that way? I would hate having everyone around me when I found out..

Same, I think I would go and hide in the toilets!
Ive already decided where to 'hide' when i open my results, and if theyr awful...how to tactfully escape without having to face too many people. Actualy id like to leave as quick as possible whether theyr bad or good.

our teachers are gay, they expect you to open it with them..
for instance my old ict teacher hates me, for my as results she picked me out from the back of the quee brought me in to the room opened them for me, she already knew what i had, and instantly mentioned her expert teaching in ICT that got me full marks... however, i did AS ict just for the sake of everybody who begged me to do it, i didnt go to one lesson, and i wrote about kebab machines in the exam..
This year i am refusing to have her come anywhere near me, so is so patronising and pedantic.

I like results day, it signals the end of everyone worrying about what their results are, where they're gunna hide :p: , etc. Plus it'll probs be the last time you see all your mates together at the same time, and i'd like to congratulate them all personally when they get their results... or maybe consol them (but hopefully not!)

I dont ever worry about the actual day. Its now out of my power as to what results i get, so why worry?
Reply 4586
we worry because we can :p:

I go to a college where everybody does A-levels and there are like 500 A2 students or something, so we have to wait in a queue for about 10 minutes to get our results :frown:
