i just killed a perfectly good convo with my results stress, really sorry.

I'm on a laptop so any music played on here sounds completly pants, and since i have no hifi i just listen to the radio, it is digital and i have got stero speakers but i'm too lazy to keep switching stations to find good songs and am getting very irritated by adverts atm

that reminds me that I need to buy some decent speakers before I go to uni (don't want to say Cambridge before we get our results lol :rolleyes:

) because my laptop's built in speaker is rubbish

my parents had a party the other day...
i wired all my speakers around the garden/conservatory
in total there was 4 sub woofers, 4 tweaters (wrong spelling...) and like 7 surround speakers, and 6 beefy speakers...
they didnt even turn it up loud :frown:

one of my mates is doing some audio/music course at uni, and the sound system in his room is amazing (i don't understand it all, but it sounds bloody good)

in the ultimate act of sadness i have now made the 24 style results day counter my home page... serious can't believe its only 7 days now

on one of the muse singles you could dissect the sound so i messed around with that so each instrument came out of different speakers and it alternated clockwise... :p:

And then of course there's the old adage that women are attracted to men with power... which makes the intelligence/confidence over looks thing make a lot more sense, as intelligence/confidence would point to being more likely to become powerful than the typical nice guy, yes?

I hadn't thought of it that way, but it makes sense. I was just thinking along the standard sexual selection lines - the 'peacocks tail' scenario where a small preference among one gender amplifies over time.
