well done to you all..well i as expected dident get the maths step grades as i expected...i got my four A grades in my a levels, which i did expected. to off to warwick now...oh well...there loss i tried!


Me too! Well, I got AAAB (exceeds the A level part of my offer) (B in German - teacher wants to appeal) but didn't get the STEP grades. I got a letter from Cambridge this morning, basically saying "Nice try, now go away. And inform your LEA cos you're not coming here."

But I'm going to Warwick. :smile:

Am obviously a bit disappointed, especially as I won't get to meet you guys :frown: , but as I only dropped 49 UMS out of 1200 for Maths/Further Maths (actually nost of that was S3 and FP3) my friends are saying they doubt there'll be many people at Warwick with better grades. And if there are don't tell me. I've cried enough today.

I have to go down on the 30th/1st - as in, I can arrive on the 30th, but I have to be there by 6 p.m on the 1st.

Hello everyone,

This has officially been one of the worst mornings of my life.

This morning I checked track, and it said "changed course" major panic, I missed me A in F. Maths I thought so I've been pooled, not the end of the world, it's still Cambridge.

I get to School, results are delayed, half an hour later (the longest half and hour of my life i might add) i get handed results slips, and the read A,A,A i get to the last one thinking **** this must be a C (i needed AAAB) and no it's another A.

So I'm standing in the middle of the hall crying now, thinking what the *insert appropriate word* Pembroke don't want me but I got AAAA. Head of year tells me to stop being silly, i have got my offer and UCAS are stupid. I then Have to wait till 11 when Pembroke Admissions office opens to be told yes I do have a place there.

So I ring UCAS and they said that they thought I wanted 2006 entry, when i have rung them 3 times to try and get comfirmation of my differment, and every time they have said it was in the post, so the message on track was telling me that i had a 2007 offer, because they still thought i wanted a 2006 offer.

I could so kill someone right now.

Anyway...

Yay!!! I'm in... see you all october 2007!
Harsh! But at least you're coming to Pembroke after all that!
Meh, you won't be seeing me in 2007. I shall be dying to exhaust pipes in London or something.

Well iam not going to johns but ill be over there by the 27th. Then again i am coming all the way from Thailand :smile: good to know that at least the john's scientists are there if i ever get lonely

Some people are obviously nice in this world and were kind enough to provide the rest of us, whom are slightly less priviledged with these Mythbusters video clips.

well apparently not nice enough, as these videos are "currently unavailable in your country". those poor little kiddies all around the world (with a com and net) who dont have the priveledge of living in one of those "special countries" that google video provide for
