my college hasn't sent me anything yet. well except a congrats letter and forms, a lot of forms. i really should make a list of things to buy etc...but ive never been one for doing sensible things in advance. no doubt ill be running about crazy two weeks before we move down.

I had a big pack on results day from Sidney. (luckily no homework although I had a reading list bestowed on me about a month ago and i've just started it :p:

)
It managed to bring things home a bit! I know know my room number etc, but i'm quite confused by numerous forms i've been asked to fill out! Especially as I need all my financial info and I havent had my loan confirmed yet :frown:

. Ooh well! I hope that gets put through in the week because I want to send stuff back!
Oh and re: those regional coming up parties, I was given a big sheet with all the venues on if anyone wants to know more? I'm sure you'll all get the info soon. :cool:

I've found the specific thread for this and answered your question! Basically they seem to ne what they say on the tin. A chance to meet people and ease your nervousness. I'm probably going to go to the one near me as I have a friend coming up with me and we can get there pretty easily :smile:

You got forms?! I got the college rules and signed that and that's about it! But you've had your results longer I guess.

i got the college rules, man they were scary! and a form about the women's corridor (what did you put??) the other forms were occupational health forms (because im a medic i think) which apparently they sent to me in february....so i have to get my skates on with those!

I'm in a very similar position (I've got into Sidney for Maths). I haven't had my student support number given to me yet either, yet Sidney want me to reply saying that I'm accepting their unconditional offer ASAP, and that particular form wants the student support number. :frown:

I'm tempted to just send it off without the student support number, saying that I'll inform them if/when I get it.

On top of that, the medical form wants my mobile phone number for some reason, yet I shall be getting a new phone number near the beginning of September. :rolleyes:

Yep! I havent got my student support number, so i'm also considering sending the forms (all seventy million thousand of them :p:

) off without that particular detail. I didnt even know what a SSN was until I asked someone who HAD got their loan pack through. Are you putting the confirmation slip from UCAS in with all of them too?
