Man, who cares whether is dutch or swedish. it's freaking bytes populated LCD. You guys need to see byond the everyday representation of things and see them as they truely are!

Anyway. Doesn't matter what you see, the point is Ashlee Simpson is pissed in that video. So is Britney Spears. "Huh?! Huh? Huh?" Yes "HUH?"

Are you doing literature or linguistics? The French department are really specific about the editions to get which makes life a bit harder!

Well I tried to find all of the literature books (because I changed my mind about 1st year linguistics) and it was really hard, one of the editions was from 1984! I'm not sure if it's on your reading list, but 'The French Language Today' is really good as is the Spanish version.

Aren't you people the Keenos of the year? eh? Those books are on recommanded reading list (they are right?). That's exactly what they are, Recommanded. You don't have to read them.

Then again, I've heard people getting essay works during freshers' week before lectures have even started.

my DoS phoned up and urged me to get on with reading as much as possible. i think i'd rather start off knowing a little more than other people than immediately being singled out as the thick one...

Hmm my Dos told me to do a lot of things this year, which I didn't... still got a 2i
Reply 6516
i didnt order *all* the books, just the literature books, the dictionaries and grammar books.
I'd rather start as the thick one and finish the year with a first than start as the one who knows a lot and end the year as the one who's definitely thick.
I don't know what your council libraries are like. but in Leicester, you can borrow books of foreign literature. These include Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi and etc.

my library doesn't have anything in a foreign language. it has about 400 books.
