    I believe it means 'dominate' or 'dominant', usually in a sexual way. But that comment was nothing to do with me, so I'm maybe not the best person to ask?????

    Generally, in a BDSM relationship, there's a dominant and a submissive. But those are long words so they're known as the dom and the sub. Actually, apparently they're really pernickety about use of capitalisation. I.e. The sub is 'sub' and the dom is 'Dom'.
