i think barclays said they could offer me insurance with my student account, i just havnt got round to arranging it yet lol
im taking insurance fom my parents' home insurance, apparently itll cover me for most things
and is cheaper than that ensleigh malarky 
we went on endsleigh's website and it turned out they insured everything BUT my stuff that actually cost anything! stupid twonks.

sounds like a good idea! my laptop will be the only thing of real value i have.....now that my ipod broke!
Is it worth getting of of those Kensington locks for my laptop (when I get my new one). I am quite worried about it being nicked.

I don't have a kensington. To be honest, if I were to take your laptop, a kensington is not going to stop me.
Laptop theft is a problem in cambridge - but mainly from the central colleges where people leave their windows open, considering number of tourists no so clever...just hide it when u leave ur room (under bed - oo so obvious) or something or pull your curtains...shut your windows...lock your door...have it insured...cant think what else...

quite fortunately whenever my mum hears the word 'packing' she turns into a woman posessed, and demands the packing to be done at least a week before leaving, so im practically ready to roll!

I'm lucky... packing isn't much of an issue for me. I live in Cambridge. If I need anything I'll take the bus home and pick it up.

Meh, I dont have anything I need, I havent even done all the maths questions I was meant too... doh!
I need to make 2 fancy dress costumes! I'm fine with making a pirate one, but the angels and devils is harder :\
I want to go as something original so though Bush (an angel naturally...) or a triangle (really crap joke sorry
) - anyone got any better ideas? I've done less than half of my maths workbook. I'll do a bit more, but it's just so dull ...
