Anyone else a tad nervous about turning up at cam and feeling really really stupid?

Yep. Though if we both get the grades then we can be feel stupid together! Finally another girl going to Christ's!
Lol there dont seem to be too many christ's people floating round this place do there? Seriously though, after my interviews i felt like my brain had been raped. Havent entirely decided on cam yet tho - still might pop for manchester. Im goin to this state school STEP study thing in April though so hopefully that will reassure me.

If I pull off the 1 2 in STEP I'll never feel stupid again! I know what you mean though - I'm used to being one of the very best at maths, and anticipating an environment where a good many people are considerably better than me is a bit weird.

I too am very stressed about school :frown: SO much extra-curricular stuff on at the moment, and the main bug is having to do both my biology and chemistry projects simultaneously... the bio one's results are going seriously wonky and I don't know why, and I'm not very sure on what I'm meant to do for the chemistry one - any prospective natscis able to advise me about some easily and quickly synthesised optical isomers?

Belle and Sebastian??? That screams DISNEY to me.. but they're from different fairy tales.

Oh, I did get an early birthday present actually, but it's a little risque. I got given 4 erotica classics on S&M. The Beauty Trilogy by A.N Roqualaure (aka Anne Rice--who I love) and The Story of O.

Problem with erotica is that it is so. damn. repetitive.

 Good plan!

Wouldn't miss the art trip because we're visiting the Gothic exhibition at the Tate which I really want to go to... but the history trip... hmm... I could get by without going to it because it's just lectures and there'll be hand-outs... how will I get this past my mother? *schemes*

The alternative is using the free I have before the art trip to do the history essay, and pleading for yet another extension for the R.S. essay (my R.S. teacher will sympathise if I explain I was too hungover to work at the weekend - seriously!).

But since I hate history trips anyway... excellent idea friendlyneutron

If you're going to listen to David Starkey talking about the Tudors on Thursday you should come and keep me company!

I'll be the one with a big group of friends sitting having an obscenely large picnic probably in the middle of the lecture theatre, in a vain attempt to recreate last year's history trip when we went to Hampton Court and had a Henry VIII stylee picnic which included belgian chocolates, smoked salmon bagels, mango, several large baguettes, croissants and hot chocolate with cream and brandy...... oh I was so ill!

No, our school no longer does them. Good thing IMO - we had GCSE two years ago, then AS, so we know what exams are like, and given the limited amount of time left I'd rather focus on polishing off the courses than fretting about mocks.

..)

Fortunatly my school cant be bothered with mocks
:p:
My mocks started the day after I came back after Christmas! Bastards. Happy b-day again, Loocy! Hope you had a great day

we're in the middle of mocks right now - which seems a little strange because our finals are in eight weeks.

When are the A2 exams, out of interest? I've been trying to figure this out for a while (but can't be bothered to actually research it). The IB exams are in May, and I don't graduate until June, which means I have a whole month between finishing exams and graduating:eek: :p:
